If you’re thinking about selling your home, it's important to have a good understanding of what’s going on in the West Michigan market.

Knowing the most important data such as the average sales price, number of homes sold, and days on market will better prepare you to sell your home.

Our market report showcases everything you need to know about local real estate trends.

    Here are a few highlights...

    Saugatuck / Douglas

    • Number of sales decreased by 2 units in September 2022 vs 2021, but pending units increased by 3.
    • Number of days on the market decreased significantly in 2022 vs 2021, to the tune of 18 days on average.

    Holland

    • Number of new listings was down 14 units vs September 2021 and number of sales was down 13 units vs 2021.
    • Average days on the market vs September 2021 was down by 5 days.

    Grand Haven / Spring Lake

    • Number of active listings increased by 41 units vs September 2021
    • New listings in Grand Haven increased by 21 units in September 2022 vs 2021

I have to admit I was a bit shocked to still see such strength across the board in these markets, considering 2021 was a record setting year in terms of price growth.  We will see if our markets continue to show such positive numbers as interest rates increase, but for now, it's full steam ahead.
