    Saugatuck / Douglas

    • Average list price was up 36.18% in June of 2024 ($1,185,628) vs June of 2023 ($870,641).
    • There were 10 sold listings in June of 2024 down 33% from the 15 sold in June of 2023; number of pending listings was down 29% with 10 in June of 2024 and 14 in June of 2023; and the number of new listings was up 27% with 19 in June of 2024 and 15 in June of 2023. 

    Holland

    • Average list price was up 12.79% to $765,045, and average sale price was up 8.36% to $473,497 in June 2024 vs June 2023.
    • Number of sold listings was down 22% to 94, number of new listings was up 20% to 136 vs June of 2023 in Holland.  Active listings were also up 25% to 274 from 219.

    Grand Haven / Spring Lake

    • Average list price was up 7.27% to $842,979 in June 2024 vs June 2023.
    • Number of active listings in Spring Lake and Grand Haven was down 16% to 205 in June 2024 vs June 2023 and number of sold listings was down 3% to 73.

    As we move through July, with several summer activities already in the books, the real estate market is bursting with activity. However, a familiar challenge remains: limited inventory. Persistent demand continues to outstrip the supply of available homes, intensifying competition among buyers. With fewer options, finding the perfect property becomes more challenging. Both buyers and sellers need strategic approaches to quickly secure their desired homes or attract potential buyers. Despite these inventory constraints, 2024 is proving an exciting real estate market for those ready to seize the opportunity.
